yea one would think, i bought them brand new and had three days riding them with no crashes! So I think defective.

Yea that made for a pretty bad day. I was coming into the right hand corner right before the wooden bridge on the lower part of expert course and the bars just snapped in me hands. I slammed forward onto the stem and knocked the wind out of myself, but luckily thats all that happend although it was a day ender.
